Covid – 19 created many disasters. Many who succumbed to the disease left behind their dependent spouses and children and in some cases, children became orphans. In such unexpected situations many children who were studying in schools and colleges lost their financial supporter and bread winner. Ashalaya identified many of such cases in the surrounding of its operation and with the gracious and generous supporters of Wirges Parish of Germany, distributed additional support to these students in their education. As of now, Ashalaya Trust, with the support of Wirges Parish, has distributed support cost to 15 needy students and adopted complete education support to 3 children. The activity under this program continues to support these students and also students learning Govt Schools of Bangalore Rural area by providing lunch plates. The activity has taken up support to Tuberculosis patients in collaboration with Govt Primary Health Center, Bettahalasur, Bangalore North district.
